Event Report
Folks at every stage of interest in driving electric joined the Bennington Drive Electric Expo to test drive and explore 15 different electric and plug-in hybrid models. Representatives from Green Mountain Power were on hand to provide clarification on the incentives offered statewide, showcase a model residential charger, and provide personal testimony about what it's like to drive an electric vehicle in Vermont. The Bennington County Regional Commission, Bennington Municipal Energy Committee, select board members, and others joined to discuss the importance and urgency of reducing gas emissions in car-centric Vermont.

Event Description
Green Mountain Power EV Test Drive! Join GMP and the Bennington County Regional Commission at the corner of Depot Street and River Street in Bennington to check out electric vehicles! You can ask questions and go for a test drive with local dealers. This is a great opportunity to learn more about EVs and $$ rebates available!
