Event Report
The weather forecast for the day of the event called for heavy downpours all day with flash flood warnings. We had gusty winds. The other Chicagoland event that day cancelled. We persevered. Attendance was down because of the weather but we still had a good number of cars. 36 registered and maybe 20 showed. 5 people even registered to bring their cars in the last 24 hours despite the forecast. It was good to connect the EV drivers that showed to the Sierra Club and solar energy resources as well. Hope for clear skies next year.Event Description
Come to Northbrook Court on September 22nd from 11 to 3 and meet with local electric car drivers (we're very friendly), hear what life is like with an electric car (it's way better) and go for a ride along or test drive with actual car owners. There is an electric car out there for almost every need or budget.
Northbrook Court has become a destination for EV drivers with their 5 charging stations powered by their massive rooftop solar array. You can shop or watch a movie while filling your battery for free.
