There will be static displays, ride and drives, manufacturers reps, EV club members and D$W owners on site to answer any and all questions on EV’s. There will be a D$W EV Information Forum every hour on the hour from 11-2 to talk about EV technology, ownership, maintenance benefits and personal driving experiences. There will be food/beverages on site for sale by the New Hope UCC Mission/Outreach team as well.
This will be the 3rd NDEW for Drive $mart Wisconsin and 1st for the HOPE Creation Care Team from New Hope UCC. Since 2006 and with over 900 members, Drive $mart Wisconsin is the nation’s largest grassroots group promoting green transportation options and teaching drivers how to get the most efficiency out of their vehicles. The New Hope UCC Creation Care Team has been recently created to educate church members on environmental concerns and how to mitigate their effects.
The 2018 NDEW event again hosted by D$W in Greenfield Wi. Last year’s event, the largest in Wisconsin, attracted 22 EV/PHEV’s from 10 manufacturers and offered 13 electric vehicles for ride/drives with 58 drivers going out on drives. This event had about 150 in attendance with 63 participating in the D$W EV Owners Forum learning about all aspects of EV ownership and learned about $mart driving skills to achieve maximum fuel/range efficiency.
The Fuel of the Future is Efficiency.
