Wilsonville, OR 97070
Event ReportWe had by far our biggest NDEW event yet. With over 400 test drives provided by over 10 dealers and some owners, at least 600 people in attendance, and an array of vehicles ranging from electric motorcycles to a dragster, from the White Zombie to electric trucks provided by Freightliner and a Proterra electric bus, it felt like we had something for everybody. Portland General Electric's support really helped to get the word out, and World of Speed's site and generous support was crucial for an event of this size.

What’s the best place near Portland to see examples of most every EV available, take test drives, meet owners?
OEVA’s Wilsonville FREE Drive Electric Week event!
We will be outside of the World of Speed Motorsports Museum (directions) with plenty of free parking.
Don't miss this if you are looking for information about electric vehicles, looking to test drive the latest offerings, or an experienced driver wanting to share with others and/or show off your ride. Learn about charging, rebates and incentives, and insider tips on using an EV as a daily driver.
We will have some important updates to share about the Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program. If you're considering an EV purchase, or even more importantly, missed your window to apply for the rebate, we have the latest information on the program.
Presented by Portland General Electric and our gracious hosts, World of Speed!
Test drive an EV at the NDEW event, and you can earn
a free entry into the “OEVA Electric Test Drive” Raffle.
Or test drive at a participating location (thru October 7th) to get a free entry.
On October 10th, TWO lucky winners will be drawn to receive $2,500 towards the purchase or lease of an EV – new or pre-loved!

Make sure and check out the White Zombie…
We sometimes hear electric cars are too slow. John "Plasma Boy" Wayland will have the incredible White Zombie, a converted 1972 Datsun 1200 on display. If you have only seen this stomping Muscle Car challengers on the internet, now's your chance to see it in person! (and yes, the graphic does indeed say 0-60 in 1.8 seconds)
And it’s not just about cars…
We will have TWO Freightliner eCascadia semi-trucks on display! This is a rare opportunity to get a glimpse of the future of freight transport. Representatives from Daimler will be on hand to answer your questions.
Plus, SMART will have one of their Proterra Electric buses – mass transit is probably one of the areas that has the greatest potential benefit, both monetary and environmental, for adopting electric power. Come take a look and find out how – plus, there’s nothing like that “new bus smell” 😊
The NDEW event is completely FREE!
Attendees that also want to explore the World of Speed Motorsports Museum get a $2 discount to enter just by mentioning NDEW!
Check in and register at the OEVA booth to get a chance at some door prizes (some pretty cool stuff). Add your name to the list and you may just get lucky!
