National Drive Electric Week - Montpelier

The Vermont Chapter of the Sierra Club is collaborating with Sustainable Montpelier, Mayor Ann Watson, Vermont Energy Investment Corporation/Drive Electric Vermont, Zoom Bikes, Montpelier Energy Advisory Committee, Montpelier Transportation Infrastructure Advisory Committee, the Nature Conservancy of Vermont and others to host a 2019 Drive Electric Week event in the Capitol City of Montpelier. In order, to reach the targets of the Paris Climate Accords, Vermont needs to transition to 90,000 electric vehicles by 2025.
11:00 am -Welcome Remarks from Sierra Club and Mayor of Montpelier Ann Watson
11:15- Test drives, conversations, music and more.
12:30 pm- Electric Vehicle Speed Story Telling- We will ask 5-10 participants to tell their Electric Vehicle story in a one-two minute remarks.
12:45- Remarks from Key stakeholders-
1:00pm-Test rides, conversations, music and more.
1:45 pm: Closing remarks and raffle.
