|Day:||Saturday, September 14, 2019 NOTE: this event has already happened, find current-year events on the Attend page.|
|Time:||10 to 2pm|
|Location:||ACDC EV Tech Training Center
24 Wells Street
Worcester, MA 01604
Event ReportThis event had one man who is driving a 20 mpg SUV and now has to drive 150 miles a day. He loved talking to other owners and driving long range EVs. Seeing as it poured rain and we had to move inside, the event was poorly attended but fun for the few that were here.

Real People getting to know EVs.
All attendees and volunteers are required to wear face masks whenever they are within six feet of another person at all National Drive Electric Week 2022 events. Please see this information about how to improve how your mask protects you. For more information, see our in-person event safety requirements.
Craig Van Batenburg and friends are doing a “Teach-in” for anyone that wants to fight climate change. With our environmental laws being reversed you may ask yourself “What can I do?” More than you know and for less than you may think. Did you know a used EV sells for less than $10,000? New EVs go over 200 miles on one charge? The US Government (may change soon) has rebates up to $7,500 and Massachusetts still has rebate money. This event is held at ACDC, a Hybrid / EV training center. A unique company that educates today's professional "gas" and "diesel" automotive technicians into the world of high voltage systems.
