Cruisin’ the Bay Car Show is a fabulous show held on the shore of Siletz Bay on the Oregon Coast Highway--Hwy 101. We combine beautiful scenery, high visibility for our cars, great parking and a friendly, fun group of people. This year, we’ll also have a display of electric cars as we celebrate National Drive Electric Week!

Electrify your day by learning more about electric vehicles.  Talk to enthusiastic owners about their cars.  Sign up for rides or drives in a Tesla Model S or a Nissan LEAF.  Get answers to your questions about costs of the cars, public charging, home electricity costs, driving range, amazing savings from kicking gas and oil, and tax rebates.  Find out why the central Oregon coast is the perfect environment for electric cars.  

Cruisin’ the Bay Car Show will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Bay House Restaurant, 5911 SW Hwy. 101, Lincoln City, OR. Admission is free to see all the great cars.  Participant registration fee is $10 and free coffee will be available for participants. At noon, the Bay Area Merchants Association offers a burger, chips and a drink for $6.00. A 50/50 drawing will be held and there will be live music.  At 2:00 pm, more than 35 beautiful awards will be presented in various categories for the participating vehicles. ALL vehicles are welcome.

Update 9/8/14:  We are at maximum capacity for our display car space, but still have space for one more Drive and Ride car.  If you're an enthusiastic EV owner who loves talking about your car and you don't mind giving rides, or even letting someone take a short drive, please contact me. Parking lots and state park nearby for off-road drives.  People wanting a test drive will be asked to provide driver's license and proof of insurance.  Remember, admission is FREE for spectators so if you're driving your EV to the coast that day sign up on the website, drop by, support our National Drive Electric Week cars, and enjoy the car show!
