Event ReportWe have people who were interested and had heard about the event from the NDEW and/or our other online efforts (Facebook, Case-Halstead Public Library website, etc.) We are on a busy highway and had our signs out early. Many people stopped by just because they say us and wondered what was going on. Those in attendance had great interest and received a lot of great information!
All attendees and volunteers are required to wear face masks whenever they are within six feet of another person at all National Drive Electric Week 2022 events. Please see this information about how to improve how your mask protects you. For more information, see our in-person event safety requirements.
Let's Meet to See and Learn About Electric Vehicles, Saturday, September 14th, from 10 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the Case-Halstead Public Library, 571 Franklin St. in Carlyle, IL. We will have car demonstrations and answer questions. There will be access to the Library, restrooms and simple refreshments including water and soft drinks. There is a lot going on in Carlyle that day. If you have a plug-in vehicle, please register it to display and answer questions about your car. There will be a Level 2 Charger and some 110V outlets available for charging, so bring your portable charger if you would like to use the outlets! Afterwards people may choose to cruise their cars past the lake and meet at a local restaurant for lunch. Please contact us if you have any questions. See you there!
