Event Report
This Weymouth EV showcase setup alongside the weekly Union Point farmers' market, filled with vendors selling locally sourced fresh produce, homemade breads, crafts and more. A musician filled the air with songs on an acoustic guitar, and a wide open parking lot served as a playground for testing out some of the latest plug-in electric vehicles.
Test drive vehicles included the 2018 Mini Plug-in Countryman, 2018 Chevrolet Bolt, 2018 Chevrolet Volt, and 2018 Toyota Prius Prime.
Vehicles on display included 2018 Nissan LEAF, 2018 Tesla Model 3, 2016 & 2017 Chevrolet Bolt, 2012 Tesla Model S, and 2018 Zero Motorcycle.

Event Description
Join the Massachusetts Sierra Club, Mass Energy Consumers Alliance, and Union Point for an EV Ride n Drive event. Learn from environmental groups, dealerships, and EV owners about what it's like to drive electric, the benefits, and available discounts. Even go for a test drive! It looks like we'll have an all-electric Zero motorcycle available at this event as well.
This EV Ride n' Drive will take place alongside Union Point's excellent farmers' market & "Weekend Hangouts" series, featuring local produce, food trucks, specialty vendors, and live music!
Union Point is the new smart city "rising 12 miles south of Boston, with the mission to enhance the human experience through the ideals of technology, sustainability, architectural beauty, education, creative arts, culture and inclusivity."
