Dorey Park Farmers Market
2999 Darbytown Road
Richmond, VA 23231
Our kick-off event for Richmond’s fifth annual celebration of NDEW was a success. The EV display was at the entrance to the Dorey Park Farmers Market, helping us draw more than 70 visitors throughout the event. The highlight was the unscheduled appearance of a Tesla Model X, with car seats in the back to show how an all-electric car can meet the needs of a growing family. Other cars on display included a Zero Motorcycle, Nissan LEAF, Chevy Bolt, and Tesla Model 3, whose owners came all the way from North Carolina to attend their fifth NDEW event in Richmond.

Richmond kicks off its fifth annual celebration of National Drive Electric Week with a display of electric vehicles at the Dorey Park Farmers Market, a new market that was established to provide the citizens of Eastern Henrico with easy access to fresh and nutritious local produce, food and crafts of the highest quality. The market is located adjacent to the Dairy Barn at Dorey Park.
In addition to the display, we will have our EV Experience educational exhibit and tables with handouts and activities for children. We'll also have a drawing for several National Drive Electric Week goodie bags, courtesy of Nissan.
Please click on the button above and register if you plan to stop by and learn more about electric vehicle technology. For EV owners, please note that the five slots for the display are full. Any additional registrations will be put on a waiting list. Or, you can park your car nearby and come over to visit ... we would love to say hello to you!
