Event Report
EV Day San Diego took place at beautiful Liberty Station where the weather couldn't have been more perfect! We had over 1,800 registered attendees on the NDEW website and more than 800 people who signed up for test drives. On the day of the event, we exceeded that with record breaking numbers. Among our splendid list of speakers, our Mayor of San Diego, Kevin Faulconer, came out and spoke about the importance of clean transportation in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. With fun and upbeat music played by the DJ, it was a great day of EV test drives, e-bike rides, kids jumpees, EV and large vehicle displays, good eats, and the excitement of several winners who brought home prizes given by SDG&E and Plug-In America!
