Event Report
The Richmond National Drive Event was held on Saturday September 8th and was a well attended free family event with private vehicle owners eager to share their EV ownership experience, auto manufacturers, Richmond Police Activities League provided a jump house for the kids, 511.org gave away free espresso and gelato for downloading a commuter app. Several local non-profit groups, solar energy companies, and MCE Clean Energy shared financing and energy rebate programs. Also in attendance were Richmond City Council Member Ben Choi and Contra Costa County District Supervisor John Gioia-both gentlemen drive EVs.

Event Description
City of Richmond CA National Drive Electric Week
Saturday, September 8, 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Free and open to the public to test drive and learn more about electric vehicles, electric bikes, EV chargers, ownership, purchasing rebates and financing. Solar vehicle and alternative powered vehicle owners are also encouraged to show and tell!
Bring the whole family! There will be music, food and fun give aways for attendees.
