The 20th annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival is on September 14-16, 2018. We hope you can join the crowds of happy folks at scenic Lake Snowden in Albany, Ohio, for 3 days of pawpaw music, food, contests, art, history, education, sustainable living workshops, and activities for the kids and lots more!
For National Drive Electric Week, the UpGrade Energy Village will feature an electric vehicle (EV) showcase so fest-goers can explore, feel, and experience the latest and greatest EVs in the broader southeast Ohio community. We anticipate Ohio Pawpaw Fest attendees will see various EVs including the Nissan LEAF, Chevy Volt, Kia Soul EV and custom-built EVs that will be on display Saturday, September 15 from 12-5 pm. The EVs will be supplied by members of the local EV Cruisers electric car club and others around the region willing to show off their rides! Some EV owners may provide test rides or driving opportunities at their discretion.
The 4th year of the UpGrade Energy Village will draw Pawpaw Fest attendees that are eager to take action by supporting local clean energy efforts. The Energy Village tent will feature a large solar array trailer and opportunities for fest-goers to get connected with local energy organizations, vendors, and entrepreneurs. The UpGrade Energy Village aims to help attendees access resources to reduce energy use and to make considerations about renewable energy for their homes, businesses, and local communities.
