Event Report

No celebrities just a bunch of nice people learning about several different types of EVs, including the PHEV/FFV that the UTK EcoCAR2 team is building for the EcoCAR2 nationwide competition that is currently in its 3rd year! We could NOT do ride-n-drives because we were setup so close to Neyland Stadium in a confined (and heavily guarded) area.

Middle right - Kristy Keel-Blackmon (hat) discusses EVs with a young learner and gives her a t-shirt! Event Description

Looking forward to greeting Tennessee Vol and South Alabama Jaguars fans on there way to the big game!  We will have our UT NPID event directly in front of Neyland Stadium and Gate 21.  We will have a several UTK vehicles there that are EVs, including a PHEV Chevy Volt, an NEV GEM (one of about 15 UTK uses!) and several E-bikes that are part of the E-Bike Sharing Program there!!  We will also be talking about the UTK EcoCAR2 program and the incredible PHEV/E85 vehicle they are builing - come and say "hi!" to us...
