Event Report
We held our Electric Vehicle Showcase at 6:30 PM, right after a Know Before You Go (Solar) workshop at 5:30 PM was held at the same location. 65 people attended the solar workshop, and most of them came out to the parking lot to see the cars and talk to the owners, plus there were people who came at 6:30 PM just to see the cars. We had Tesla Xs and an S, Chevy Volts and a Bolt, Nissan Leafs, a CODA, an electric scooter, and I think one more car. I was so busy talking to people that I didn't get a chance to take any photos.

Summit County Celebrates National Drive Electric Week
National Drive Electric Week brings awareness to the increasing popularity and practicality of electric vehicles. High Country Conservation Center is celebrating by partnering with the Breckenridge for 100% Renewable Energy campaign to showcase multiple makes and models of all-electric and plug-in electric hybrid cars. If you’ve ever considered buying an electric car, this event is for you! Come check out electric cars in person and talk to the Summit County locals who drive them.
This event will take place from 6:30 – 7:30 PM on September 13 in the parking lot at the Summit County Community & Senior Center after the Know Before You Go (Solar) workshop.
