Demo of 2 Tesla model X, Renault Zoe, Nissan Leaf, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Very busy successful night - no room to test drives (that was happening the next day).
Event Description
Fendalton School Space & Science Night!
Electric cars will be on display at the annual Fendalton School "Space & Science Night", including a Nissan LEAF, a BMW i3 and a Tesla Model X. If you're interested in seeing some of the EVs that are available in New Zealand, talking to some of their owners about the benefits of owning an electric car, or would just like to see the Tesla Model X dance, then come on down!
But wait, there's more! There will be a special appearance of the the autonomous (driverless) electric shuttle bus that is currently being trialed at Christchurch Airport, a joint project between HMI Technologies, the airport, the Christchurch City Council, and the University of Canterbury - so come and see it at this rare public showing!
