Event Report

This was my first event. We held it at a parking lot that had free charging available. About 4 drivers needed a boost and were able to charge. The Village of Island Park is where we had event. The Mayor of Island Park attended our event. I gave him a walking tour of the cars in the lot and reviewed the charging levels and Grants and Funding available to purchase EVs and EVSEs.
Village of Island Park Mayor Mike McGinty

Also attending was Town of Hempstead Councilman Anthony D'Esposito. We had a nice selection of EVs. Volts, Bolts, BMW i3s, Ford Focus, Telsa Roadster and Model S and a Nissan Leaf, and even a Tesla Power Wall too!

I called many dealers in my area but none were able to attend.
Overall I was very happy with how the event went.
