Station Street next to the Chattanooga Choo Choo
1400 Market Street
Chattanooga, TN 37402
Our very successful Drive Electric – Chattanooga celebration of National Drive Electric Week festivities was included with the Second Saturday on Station Street event orchestrated by the Chattanooga Choo Choo and the Songbirds Foundation. The “Second Saturday on Station Street” this September 9th attracted over 1,500 attendees to enjoy live bands, street vendors and our displays of electric vehicles. We estimate that between 400 and 500 people stopped to talk to our vehicle owners and examine our displays. We were proud to host the mayor of Chattanooga Andy Berke who visited our displays and talked with our vehicle owners. He was then invited by the Songbirds Foundation to the stage to address the crowd where he presented the Drive Electric Chattanooga organization with a city proclamation that declared September 9-16, 2017 as “Chattanooga Drive Electric Week.” The highlights of our event were covered in an article in the Chattanooga Time Free Press.
