Event Report
This year we returned with another outstanding event to the Ventura Harbor Village. The main lawn showcase held a display of an amazing variety of electric vehicles. In addition to the 54 SUVs, Auto and Trucks displayed by their owners there were 3 motorcycles, 2 pizza delivery vehicles, a Ford E-Transit plumbing service vehicle, an all electric Bucket truck, 1956 classic boat with twin electric outboards, the first electric school bus in the county and a couple of vintage EV conversions. Off to the side there was a display of three lightweight camping trailers suitable for EV towing. Overall an impressive variety of 42 different electric options. Other EV's came to the event bringing their occupants who attended the event, but were in the general parking area. The cars were displayed by their owners who have years of EV ownership and have driven Ana aggregated 3,210,000 petroleum free miles. They were all EV advocates and there were many discussions about their EV experiences, installing solar and batteries, conservation and living with less impact and options to make a difference. enthusiastic and willing to discuss their experience and answer questions about owning and living with an EV.
To further participants knowledge about electric vehicles, charging options, rebates and electrical options, there were booths from community organizations and service providers ready to answer any questions. This was the 11th annual National Drive Electric Week Showcase in Ventura County.

Event Description
This year we will be returning with another outstanding event to the Ventura Harbor Village. Over on the main lawn you will find an amazing showcase of electric vehicles. There will be Cars, Vans, SUV’s, Trucks, Bikes and other electric equipment, even vintage EV conversions. These cars are displayed by their owners who have years of EV ownership and have driven many petroleum free miles. They all are enthusiastic and willing to discuss their experience and answer your questions about owning and living with an EV.
If you own an EV, register with the RSVP button and bring your vehicle to the showcase, meet and mingle with members of our local EV community. Enjoy the opportunity to visit the Ventura Harbor Village for some excellent eats and opportunities for shopping, you might even stroll down to the Visitor Center of Channel Islands National Park and learn about the amazing resource just off our coast. (sorry, no chargers out there).
This will be the 11th National Drive Electric Week Showcase in Ventura County. Last year’s event displayed 69 vehicles representing 31 models including an electric school bus. Combined EV mileage was just under 3 million miles. This year we anticipate having a greater diversity of vehicles, with more owners and experiences to share.
