Event Report

Event was planned very last minute with only two weeks to go. Received very no material from NDEW or Nissan because it was too late. Got some NDEW banners and signs from Charles Gerena-Drive ElectricRVA in Richmond VA. Got some material to hand out from Alleyn Haynerd-Virginia Clean Cities. Got a few last minute companies to show up from Solar Services, Sierra Club, and Surfrider Foundation. Was too late to get any dealers to bring test drive cars. The closest Chevy dealer didn't have any Volts anyway. The closes BMW dealer didn't have any i3's but was kind enough to let their "i-genius" come by with an X540e. Next year I plan t0 have all the dealers there an many local "related" businesses.

Event Description

Join us at this fun and informative event. It's the first ever Hampton Roads Area / Virginia Beach National Drive Electric Week Celebration! It will be hosted at Croc's Bistro in the Vibe District of Virginia Beach.

Croc's will have a full bar and brunch menu with locally sourced goods from the farmers market and items items picked fresh from their garden. 

Visitors can check out EVs from BMW, Chevy Volts, Nissan Leafs, Tesla (Model S, Model X) and more! Talk to the drivers and hear why they made the switch to electric vehicles, and how you can, too.

Raffle drawing will be held at 3pm. You must be present to win.
