Event Report

The Hudson Valley EV group put on an Electric Car Show at the Poughkeepsie Galleria. Over 20 cars including eight different models were on display. KIA provided test drives in their SOUL EV and they were busy all day long. The Dutchess County department of planning chair was there, as well as a county legislator and they were both delighted by the show and came away with a greater understanding of EVs and our infrastructure needs. Other highlights of the event included a Signature Tesla Model X and a Zero motorcycle. All in all a great afternoon!

3^rd Annual Electric Vehicle Day - Poughkeepsie 2016
Same Location - Poughkeepsie Galleria - Sunday Sept 18th

FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

Experience the excitement of driving electric at this one-day opportunity to see all the EVs (Electric Vehicles) on the road today.

Already own an EV? Come put your car on display and talk to attendees about why you love driving electric.

'Intro to EV' 10-minute presentation at 1pm & 2pm!

*Update 9/3:  BMW and KIA dealers are confirmed, including the i3 and i8!
*Update 9/10:  SolarCity & Central Hudson are confirmed!

Sunday September 18th, from Noon to 4pm at the Poughkeepsie Galleria. You don't have to be there the whole time - come by to say hi or stay for a while and enjoy the day!  Here is a map of exactly where we will be located:



Please register for the event, but just as importantly join our Facebook group!  Register to come to the Drive Electric Week event and we'll invite you to join the group.  It's a nice forum to discuss local EV issues with fellow enthusiasts and drivers. It's set to be a private group so that any comments will stay within the group and not be plastered over everyone's walls.
