Each September electric vehicle advocates including Plug In America, Sierra Club, and Electric Auto Association host a national week of Electric Vehicle events. 

At Houghton Park in Long Beach, CA we'll have electric buses, cars, 18 wheelers, bicycles and motorcycles as well as information about all the benefits of electric propulsion.  You can talk directly to EV owners about their experiences. This event is co-sponsored by Representative Alan Lowenthal, Congresswoman Janice Hahn, Senator Ricardo Lara, Long Beach Councilmember Rex Richardson, as well as the Sierra Club, TeslaClubLA, OC Tesla Club, BYD, Southern California Association of Electric Vehicles, South Coast Air Quality Management District, California Air Resources Board, Audubon Society, Children’s Day, Solar City, Ameco Solar, Pedego of Greater Long Beach, American Green Zone Alliance, Evergreene, Ameco Solar, many neighborhood associations, the Long Beach Coalition for a Safe Environment, and Long Beach Surfriders.
