The City of Carmel in partnership with the Greater Indiana Clean Cities, Hoosier Electric Vehicle Association, Carmel Green Initiative, AAA's My Pit Crew, St. Luke's United Methodist Church and Knozone is excited to announce that as part of the National Drive Electric Week we will be hosting an EV Ride and Drive on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Indiana Design Center.  Attendees can test drive various electric-powered vehicles from cars to e-bikes and even e-motorcycles. Plenty of EV owners will be displaying their vehicles and will be available for attendees to ask questions about ownership, costs, and how to charge an EV. Additionally, there will be other organizations with information related to electric vehicles, solar panels and heat pumps as well as live music.
