This is the first time that there will be an EVs-only section as part of  Kingman's annual Fun Run Show N Shine car show whose prime organizer is the Historic Route 66 Association of AZ. The car show is expected to attract ~800 vehicles during this its 34th year in existence. The Scottsdale EVA Chapter and the Historic EV Foundation (HEVF) are joining forces to organize the EVs-only section's participants and volunteers and provide special EV community hospitality opportunities while in Kingman.

This year's EV perks include the Fun Run's EVs-only display section will be located next to the Kingman Supercharger location in the parking lot of HEVF's Route 66 EV Museum (FREE admission to the EV Museum during the car show). This is also the location of the Kingman Visitors Center and Fun Run food trucks where there is always a high volume of pedestrian traffic. Also, properly registered owners who choose to have their EV judged for one of the two official Fun Run EV trophies being provided by the Scottsdale EVA Chapter will not need to line up for judging under the Route 66 shield at the Visitor's Center. The EVs-only section judges will come to the participants' EVs where they are on display in the EVs-only section. For those who have registered on this site as an owner who is displaying their EV, the Foundation is in the process of arranging for you to receive a special EVs-only section souvenir pass which you will be required to display on your dashboard in order to be admitted to the EVs-only section of the car show.

To obtain access in the Fun Run's EV-only section of the Show N Shine auto show, owners who plan to display their EV need to register on this website and be sure to check the box, "I'm interested to show my EV to others at the event"If you have already registered for the 2023 Fun Run, please enter your Fun Run ID number in the "Comments for event organizers" section of the online form.

Both the EV owners and EVs-only section volunteers (signed up on this website) will also be invited to a post-car show social event on Saturday, May 6th. This will be a by-invitation-only EVent sponsored HEVF in the Foundation's new Kingman Office location in the 1912 Oddfellows building. The Oddfellows building is on the National Register of Historic Places. EVs-only section participants will also be presented with an historically significant, souvenir West Coast Electric Highway logo pin.

In addition to the FREE registration on this site, you must also officially register your EV for display using the Fun Run's official registration process. This will make you eligible for not only a Fun Run Show N Shine EV trophy being provided by the Scottsdale EVA chapter, but several unofficial EV trophies which the Scottsdale chapter is planning to award participants in the EVs-only section. This year, the are two official Fun Run EV trophies to be awarded: one for the best Stock EV  and one for the best EV Conversion.
