Event Report
The 2022 Drive Electric Event was held a week late due to Hurricane Ian, but that didn't dampen the turnout or excitement. McDaniels Porsche and VW was our lead sponsor again this year and provided outstanding support to the volunteer team. They provided a customer owned 2020 Porsche Taycan and VW ID.4 for guests to view and enjoy. Other EVs on hand from Tesla, Chevy, Nissan, Volvo, Kia and others provided a full range of options from the 2022 Tesla Model X Plaid to gently used Nissan Leaf. Volunteers provided 90% of the displayed cars across a wide range of size, cost, and options.Sound & Images, a local event rental company, provided a 10' x 17' video wall that showed product demonstrations from Porsche and VW along with informational videos from Munro Live, Like Tesla and others. Local owners provided answers to questions about living with EVs, road trips, charging, maintenance and other inquiries.

EV Event for the Whole Family!
New electric vehicles on display from Porsche, VW, Tesla, Ford, Volvo and others in the middle of Columbia's famous Soda City Market. We'll be set up and waiting for you at the intersection of Main St. and Hampton St. Owners will be on hand to answer questions and talk about what it's like to drive electric in Columbia.
