Event Report
We had 4 very unusual vehicles at this years NDEW. One was a record holding Junior Dragster made by one of our members. His kids won many awards when they were young. Now he has trouble finding other children who will race and have parents that agree to let the. We also had 2 top level conversions. A 73 VW Super Beetle and a Porsche 914. Both have AC controllers, a on Board charger with J-1772 ports and lithium batteries. The paint jobs were also 1st class and complete updated interiors. VW would be proud of this conversions. Onw was even in our 100 mile rally the other year. No other conversion has even entered. The other unusual vehicle was a FORD Transit connect full size VAN. It was done as a professional conversion was was very well done. This is a local company selling them to local delivery companies in Arizona. These are great quality that Amazon and FEDEX would be proud of and many sign on for some. We also had the newest FORD Mustang Mach E, VW ID4, KIA Kona EV and Jaguar I-Pace. With Chevy Bolt, Tesla's SX Y and 3 with an S PLAID of course.

The Dad and 2 college children a boy and girl they all worked together and know all the specs of each vehicle. They drive them to classes and work everyday. Both the 73 Super Beetle and 914 are eye catchers and run perfect. The have J-1772 port so they can drive and charge anyplace. |
Event Description
We will be using all safety measures to meet. Masks and distancing. All types of electric cars, trucks, and work vehicles will be shown. You can talk with the owners.
Some also have solar and home battery backup. Learn all about it. Also, learn about the many electric vehicles and battery companies located in Arizona like Lucid, Solo and Nikola along with large battery maker KORE and battery recycling Li-Cycle. Our state is making it happen.
