In total, around 65 people attended in person and close to 50 virtually. Among the activities carried out, there were:
- Exhibition and driving demonstrations of electric cars of the JAC brand, provided by Grupo Zapata Querétaro. Those who brought a SEi 2 and SEi 4 model and the attendees and guests of the event were able to see and ride them, thus proving the versatility, high performance and reasonable cost of these cars in Mexico.
- Dynamic #EsDeValientes of the Youth Secretariat Queretaro State , which consisted of visitors using special visors that simulate the vision of a person when driving while intoxicated, while taking a tour in a semi-professional racing car simulator provided by PERFORMANCE SIMULATORS, unique in Mexico and Latin America.
- Presentation of 7 university teams fromo all over the country participating in ELECTRATON; six of them virtually by Zoom, carried out by XPertCAD : IPN-Culhuacán, ITESM-Guadalajara, ANAHUAC-CDMX sur, ITESM-Monterrey, IPN-Ticomán, ITESM-Santa Fé; and one of them in person: ITESM-Querétaro. These presentations were presented to a group of honorary judges, professionals from the automotive industry and experts in electric mobility (like ZF, Ford, ABB, SolidWorks, etc) as well as former electratoners who are members of the association as well as some member companies of the Automotive Cluster of the state of Chihuahua, one of the most active and important of the country. In this way, about 70 academic elite students from all over the country were able to interact and expand their networking networks with top-level professionals, both face-to-face and remotely, who gave them advice and their opinions on matters of computer design, manufacturing, performance and project management, from the approaches that the Mexican automotive and technology industries require these days to be at the level of the best in the world.
- "Panel of Discussion" moderated by the experienced journalist of the newspaper AM DE QUERÉTARO, Magdiel Torres, who together with the sales manager of JAC ZAPATA QRO - Teresa González, the racing driver and Rally Chihuahua Express representative - Jorge Ceballos, the Director of the Insurance and Law firm GREENE & ASOCIADOS - Dr. Paris Greene, the manager of new projects at ZF Chihuahua - Eng Raúl Pasillas, Electric mobility manager at ABB - Eng. Alan Nieto and the manager of ELECTRATON México - Eng. Miguel Miranda, gave a talk that pointed out some of the challenges and opportunities of the adoption of this technology in Mexico.
The staff and volunteers of the youth center "NUQLEO" and of ITEACmx, the association that organizes ELECTRATON, finished activities until 3 in the afternoon, receiving almost 65 people in a staggered manner in the 5 hours of the event so as not to cause crowds and the sanitary protocols were applied in order to ensure health security.
This is how the first post-pandemic event was carried out and it is expected that next year, this event will return to its original format in which several electric cars of different brands can be exhibited, demonstrations can be achieved, as well as test drives and rides, and at the same time audience can witness the on-track race of racing teams from all over the national territory in this championship that has already celebrated 25 years of being held in Mexico and that has even participated as a support category in the "Mexico City ePrix ” of FORMULA-E, FIA's top world class of electric racing cars.
National Drive ELectric Week - NDEW Querétaro was then a pioneer in the realization of this event organized by SEJUVE and ITEACmx (Incubadora de Tecnología, AC) which, in addition to being an ally of PLUG IN AMERICA, is also a member of GEVA (Global EV Alliance), both International non-profit associations, which promote electric mobility in North America and the world respectively, and with whom academic and training activities will be carried out on this technology that promises to reduce the levels of polluting emissions as part of the solution to the complex. problem of climate change and care of the environment through the responsible and sustainable use of renewable and non-renewable energy for the purposes of transporting people and cargo.

Mexico has one of the most extensive auto markets in the world. Along with the variety of passenger and freight transportation are several companies that not only sell vehicles in the country but built them in one of the auto clusters and assembly plants located here. So the electric offer should be one of the biggest in the world and we'd better start getting to know them.
So feel free to join us on this hybrid presentation either at a distance via zoom or in person attendance (limited prior registration required) where we'll be discussing the options we already have and the ones we'll be having towards the next couple of years in electric mobility.
There are currently 14 attendees registered.
