National Drive Electric Week Event in Copiague

To see many of the numerous plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles currently on the roads and in Long Island dealer showrooms you may want to venture over to Long Island Family Festival at Tanner Park in Copiague on Sunday, September 26th.  Organized by the Long Island Chapters of the Sierra Club and the Electric Auto Association, you will have the opportunity to see many of the models in one place and to speak with enthusiastic owners and dealer representatives about the features of the vehicles on display, their performance, and why they are fun to drive.

Plug In America, the Sierra Club, and the Electric Auto Association have been organizing National Electric Drive Week since 2011. Currently, there are more than 100 events scheduled across the country for the week of September 25 – October 3.
