Event Description

An electric car rally will be staged in Las Vegas at the Springs Preserve museum parking lot from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

The goal of the rally will be to connect electric car owners and interested potential buyers to help educate and share information about electric vehicle (EV) ownership experiences, related EV transportation technologies, public charging station infrastructure, and supporting organizations.

Exhibit booths and vehicle displays by EV owners will include information about currently available electric cars, motorcycles, and eBikes, as well as public charging station infrastructure, rooftop solar power, energy storage, home charging options, and utility incentives.

The Springs Preserve museum parking lot has been covered with a canopy of bifacial, photovoltaic solar panels that track the sun to provide electric power to the museum.  Two AC Level 2 ChargePoint stations with four SAE J1772 plug-in connectors are available to recharge the battery packs of electric cars within the parking lot during the event.

The electric car rally and exhibition is sponsored and supported by the Las Vegas Electric Vehicle Association, NV Energy, Robco Electric, Sierra Club Toiyabe Chapter, Las Vegas Tesla Owners, BSA Electronics, and Citizens Climate Lobby.

Come join our southern Nevada EV community to learn more about the future of electric transportation!
