This virtual event was part of the 10th Annual National Drive Electric Week, a coast-to-coast celebration of electric vehicles. National Drive Electric Week is presented by Plug In America, the Sierra Club and the Electric Auto Association and is sponsored by Electrify America. Additionally, Nissan has been the exclusive automotive sponsor since 2012. This event is one of nearly 200 online and in-person 2020 National Drive Electric Week Events, so thank you for joining in this celebration.
The event starts with a presentation on electric vehicle basics for anyone who is unfamiliar with or new to this type of vehicle, followed by two brief videos - the first is a one-on-one interview with a dealership representative and the second is an electric vehicle test drive.
The most time has been reserved for a panel discussion with electric vehicle owners from northwest Arkansas, northwest Louisiana and northeast Texas.
Finally, if you like what you hear and see in the event recording, be sure to check out SWEPCO’s Electric Vehicles Playlist on YouTube where there are test drive videos of the panelists and their electric vehicles. And be sure to encourage your family and friends to view the recording. Happy 2020 National Drive Electric Week!
Join an online panel discussion with electric vehicle owners from Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas during National Drive Electric Week on Tuesday, 9/29, at 10am. Plus, you'll learn EV basics, hear from a car dealership and see a virtual EV test drive!
