The Alamance Community College will host a National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) 2020 Virtual EVent on Oct 3rd, 2020 at 1pm Eastern time.
Join us online where we will feature local Light Electric Vehicles and full size EVs. Also, if you are interested in having your experience documented and you live in the Central NC or Southwest Virginia area we invite you to join our EVent and we will assist you in producing videos and collect materials we will share online. We will send email to any registered attendees about this change in our plan due to the COVID19 restrictions in our state (NC) and Alamance Community College.
Area EV owners have dozens of different models and brands of Electric Vehicles and even more Light Electric Vehicles: electric bicycles (ebikes), electric scooters (escooters), Segway miniPRO & miniLITE, Segway GoKart, and electric HoverKarts, at this Drive Electric Week EVent. Since we are unable to have a set of demonstrations for the general public, we will use this web conference to begin interviewing Light EV and full size EV owners.
Over the course of the next few weeks we will edit the interviews and add videos highlighting the Electrifying Experiences of area EV owners.
New to our 2020 EVent will be a ride on a virtual course using a Light EV! As in past EVents, we will document books and other resources available for review at Alamance CC and local public libraries.
This EVent is a collaboration between the Alamance Community College, the Triad Electric Vehicle Association and with online support from the National Drive Electric Week team
There are currently 12 attendees registered.
Registered attendees report 189,000 electric miles driven.
