Event Report
The 30 volunteer hours were actually paid hours. There were two individuals that organized the event and they are paid staff. Kevin Whited is a City of Carmel employee and Christine Watson is the executive director of the Greater Indiana Clean Cities Coalition. Additionally, your question re. participants is difficult to answer. We had 118 people come to the event which includes EV drivers but we were on a very busy intersection in downtown Carmel during one of the City of Carmel's Meet Me on Main event . My guess is that an additional 600 to 800 people either walked or drove by our event. We had one City Council member stop by our event.

Event Description
Greater Indiana Clean Cities, Hoosier EV Association and City of Carmel are hosting an EV Ride and Drive event on Main Street in Carmel, Indiana. EV Ride and Drive events give the public the chance to test out new electric vehicles from a wide variety of manufacturers.
The event will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. as part of the monthly Meet Me on Main events, hosted by the City of Carmel. The sign-up table will be located on the north east corner of W. Main Street and Rangeline Road (PNC Parking lot). Participants in the EV Ride and Drive event will be able to test drive or ride along inside a variety of electric vehicles from various manufacturers and speak with current owners of EV and PHEV's and view their EV's.
