Event Report
Our National Plug In Day event at Eaton Corporation included notable presentations about experience with electric vehicles from DC Water, Eaton Corporation, AutoFlex AFV, Smithsonian Institution, and others. We had individuals from the public and EV groups, along with fleet managers and OEM representatives, attend our event.Thank you for such a wonderful event.
Event Description
Please join the Greater Washington Region Clean Cities Coalition at our Electric Vehicle Workshop at Eaton Corporation's office in Hanover, Maryland. This workshop will be part of the GWRCCC's Electric Vehicle Awareness Week, culminating in National Plug In Day on September 29th. (http://www.pluginday.org)
Join us as we hear presentations about Electric Vehicles, charging stations and infrastructure, opportunities and incentives, and more.
The draft agenda includes speakers from AutoFlex AFV, Eaton Corporation, the National Mall and Memorial Parks, GWRCCC, Smithsonian (invited), and more! The workshop will close with a tour of Eaton Corporation's facilities in Hanover. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
For
those wishing to attend our meeting in an environmentally-friendly way,
the Dorsey MARC station is located nearby the even site. There will
also be the opportunity to arrange a carpool if there is enough
interest.
