Event Report
We participated in Drive Electric Week as well as Green Energy Doors Open at the Living City Campus at Kortright. We had approximately 125-150 people attend. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the innovation trail, tour the sustainable house, attend an energy literacy discussion hosted by Toronto Region Conservation Authority staff and PowerStream, check out EV's and speak with EV owners and there were also many fun solar toys for the kids to play with.

Event Description
Join Toronto and
Region Conservation for Green Energy Doors Open and Drive Electric Week for a
fun filled day of tours, talks and toys! Learn about sustainable living
on a self-guided tour of the Archetype Sustainable House or join a guided walk
along the Innovation Trail to learn about renewable energy and to tour our
newly renovated off grid cottage. Want to learn more about how energy is
used in your home and ways you can help reduce your electrical bills?
Join our expert staff and PowerStream for a 45-minute energy literacy
discussion. Participants will also have the opportunity to chat with
electric vehicles owners as part of Drive Electric Week, who will be on hand
with their cars helping to educate consumers about the newest, greenest ride.
Even the kids can ‘test drive’ our toy solar cars and bake cookies in our
solar oven! A BBQ lunch will be available for purchase.
