Event Report

The South Coast Air Quality Management District sponsored and hosted our 4th annual National Drive Electric Week Event, and we are all very appreciative of their continued support. Our forum included presentations from Lisa Mirisola of SCAQMD,Rachel Moses from Green Lots, Joshua Goldman from Trans Power, Jim McCarthy from EVAOSC.

Thanks to Nissan for the assistance of evom Carlos and the Nissan Kit, SCAQMD donated an Electric lawn mower to a well received door prize drawing. Puente Hills Nissan and Crevier BMW each brought 2 EV's and gave very popular ride and drives. Of the many booths, we had EAA, Sierra Club, and Plug In America hosted by Linda Nichols.

SCAQMD donated 2 of the original small paddle chargers,(EV1 and RAV 4) that were replaced by the first new level 2 chargers at their site, to the Automobile Driving Museum. We had strong support from the student Volunteers of Diamond Bar For Youth, as well as new supporters from the NDEW site regis., and our EVAOSC members.
