For the second year there will be a National Drive Electric Week event in Prairie du Chien, WI. Anybody and everybody who is curious about EVs is welcome to attend this free event. Last year we had about 10 cars and about 40 people attend. Lets double that this year! Tell your neighbors, your friends, your relatives, even your pastor! Come down to the Prairie Cinema where we will display EVs for you to look at, sit in, and (depending on how comfortable the owner is) ride in or drive an EV for yourself. See how much fun instant torque is! Learn about the fuel savings, maintenance benefits, and how EVs are helping to save the planet by reducing carbon emissions by up to HALF over comparable gas powered cars. 

In addition to vehicle owners sharing their experiences, the Electric Vehicle Association (one of the national sponsors of this event) and its Wisconsin Chapter will be present at this event to help answer any questions you may have about EVs. Additionally, if you would like to become a member of the EVA (and receive a number of benefits as well as help advance the cause) there will be information for you at this event. We will have information handouts that help illustrate the types of EVs that are available currently and EVA members can help you learn about EV coming out in the near future. 

This event is completely free, purely educational, and will be loads of fun. If anyone you know is curious about EVs, or even skeptical, send them our way for the 2nd annual PDC National Drive Electric Week event. 

If you want to bring your EV, but can't stay for the full 6 hours, I fully understand. Talking about your car for 6 hours may not be doable and if you can only stay for less time than that, that is completely understandable. In that case please contact the event coordinator to sign up for a 3-hour segment (either 10-1 or 1-4).
