Event Report
For this event we partnered with Empire Electric, the electricity provider for this region. This was a big step in our relationship with them and it is important for us to continue working with them.Models of EVs there: VW ID.4, Kia EV6, Chevy Bolt, homemade EV.
The people who attended were very thankful for an event such as this in their more rural town. There hasn't been much EV adoption in Cortez, but this event provided a place for like-minded people to come together and discuss their passion for EVs. Those who did come stuck around for a long time, about 2 hours on average.

Event Description
Local Electric Vehicle (EV) owners will showcase their vehicles, provide operation information, share their personal experiences, and potentially give a test drive during the Ride and Drive. EV Charging best practices, EV model availability, and ownership tips are also provided. The climate, clean air, and cost savings benefits provided by EVs will also be featured. An array of vehicle types will be on display. Other attractions include prizes and refreshments. This event is free and open to the general public. EV owners are welcome.
