Event Report

Three days after Hurricane Ian slammed Florida, many or our participants were still in recovery mode. Yet the great attendance of EV owners and the high number of visitors interested in learning more about EVs speaks not only about the incredible resilience of Floridians, but also about the increasing interest on EVs. Once more we enjoyed the hospitality of Brandon Ford's Garage. We also had Anthony Jackson, with Steer join us to show one of the new Teslas on their fleet.

There was plenty of opportunity to capture some awesome pictures, which you can enjoy in the photo gallery of the Tampa Bay EVA. They ranged all the way from a brand new Rivian to a Harley Davidson Livewire and a Ford Mustang Mach-e Purple Rain. This is the eighth successful event organized by the Tampa Bay EVA and one thing that is clear is that each time we see more and more participants, more models and more members of the public seeking a better understanding of what EVs are really about and the benefits of owning one.

**************************

The transition to Electric cars has already started. EVs are fun to drive. Electric Vehicles are also cheaper to own than a gas car. They are not dependent on the ups and downs of expensive fossil fuels. They are fuel-efficient, need no oil changes and require less maintenance.  You can charge your EV at home for a lot less. And with the new tax breaks, they are price competitive out the door. As a plus, they are also safer and better for the environment. If you are interested in learning more and talking to the owners that drive them daily, come see these beauties up close...

The Tampa Bay Electric Vehicle Association (EVA) works to educate our community about the benefits of driving electric vehicles. If you are thinking of driving an electric car drop by and meet other Tampa Bay area EV drivers. They can share their  real-life experiences driving an EV. Join us to experience real EVs and meet actual EV owners.
