Event Report
This was the first-ever CDOT Electric Vehicle Ride & Drive Community Event, held in Colorado Springs at the Phil Long EVOutlet, Southern Colorado’s only pre-owned electric and hybrid dealership. The following sponsors, partners and exhibitors were present: CDOT, Xcel Energy; Colorado Springs Utilities; Drive Clean Colorado; the Colorado Springs EV Club; Cumulus Media; iHeart Media; KXRM; Phil Long Dealerships; and Kangaroo Coffee. Event Description
Following the Phil Long EV Outlet’s Grand Opening this week, join us for a ride and drive event on Saturday, October 2nd, from 10am – 5pm with organizers CDOT and Phil Long Dealerships. They’ll be showcasing newer EV models and offering a variety of models to test drive. We will help their team inform and educate consumers on EVs, charging stations, range anxiety, tax incentives, and related EV topics. This will be a community, multi-location event in Motor City with support from state and local officials, agencies, and partners. Food trucks and music will be on-site as well!
