Event Report
Highlight of the event was the demonstration of the "Electric Energy Pyramid" where we displayed a solar panel charging an electric storage battery which, in turn, was charging a Tesla Model 3. This was a real time demonstration where we also promoted this system as an emergency backup power source when the electric grid is down or unavailable. At the event the battery backup system also provided all power to equipment used during the event including computers, cell phones, PA system and lighting.Attendees and registrants for the event were informed that the backup battery system came from the generous support from Plug -in-America and the NDEW Event Grant funds.
