Event Report
Thank you to all of our Drive Electric Columbus members who turned out on Saturday, September 25th 2021 to participate in our Electric Car Show for National Drive Electric Week. We couldn't have had a successful event without members showing up and sharing their EVs. Edison Brewing Company was an excellent venue and we appreciate them letting us use their parking lot.
Also we want to thank Buckeye Nissan for sending a new Nissan Leaf for Test Drives and SkyCharge Solar for displaying at our NDEW 2021 event. We would also like to thank our door prize sponsors - Smart Columbus, Moo Moo Express Car Wash, AAA Ohio, EVUnited, and Tesla Motors (Easton Town Center Showroom). Of course, we have to thank our national sponsors for all the free t-shirts and other table swag items - PlugIn America, Normal Now by Electrify America, Sierra Club, EVHybrid Noire, Nissan, Clipper Creek, Wells Fargo, Enel X, and Inside EVs.
Our biggest thank you though is for our event volunteers - Alex S., Todd W., and Mryia W. They arrived early, put out signs, set up our tables, helped to direct EVs into place, checked everyone in, took photos (thanks Alex), stored & hauled everything for the day (thanks Todd & Mryia), and took care of everything else that it takes to make a great event happen. We wouldn't have had such a successful day without the three of you.

Event Description
Drive Electric Columbus invites you to stop by Edison Brewing Company on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 from 11am to 3pm to celebrate National Drive Electric Week.
We will have an Electric Car Show (all participants will receive a Car Show dash plaque). We are planning a variety of awards and fan favorite categories for EVs in the show. Click here to complete the Electric Car Show Entry Form.
We will have a Kids Area where they can take an RC Car for a battery-powered lap, read "Sparky's Electrifying Tale", or build a simple electric motor.
Are you EV curious? Drop by to see a variety of Electric Vehicles and ask questions of EV owners driving electric everyday. Don't miss registering for the door prize drawings and taking home some freebies from our sponsors.
The Ohio State University EcoCar Team will be in attendance! The EcoCAR Mobility Challenge is an Advanced Vehicle Technology Competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, General Motors and Mathworks, and it is managed by Argonne National Laboratory. Students from 12 North American Universities must re-engineer a Chevrolet Blazer over four years to incorporate advanced propulsion systems, electrification and connected and automated vehicle technologies.
Looking for your first (or next) EV? Buckeye Nissan plans to attend with a brand new Nissan LEAF Plus. They do plan to offer test drives so please bring your license with you if you want to participate.
