Event Report
McDaniels VW and Porsche were the prime sponsors for our 2021 event and provided an ID.4 and Taycan for display. Dick Dyer Volvo displayed their XC40 Recharge and also sponsored the event. We appreciate their efforts this year with new car inventory challenges! Drive Electric Columbia partnered with the Palmetto Clean Fuels Coalition (PCFC) again this year and as a part of the SC Energy Office, PCFC added additional promotional reach, institutional knowledge, and on-site answers during out event. We greatly appreciate their long term support!Thousands of Soda City Market attendees passed through our event space and 30+ EVs and PHEVs were on display with owners answering questions during the four hour event. Owners displayed EVs and PHEVs from Tesla, Ford, Honda, Jaguar, BMW, and Nissan among others. A local owner brought it converted 1973 VW Bug, which is always a crowd favorite!

EVs and EV owners on hand at the Soda City Market with the goal of educating about living with EVs. Stroll through the market and stop by to see plug-ins from Porsche, Tesla, Chevy, Nissan, VW, Volvo, BMW and many others. We’ll have brand new dealer cars on hand to show new cars on the market and local EV owners will answer your questions about EV ownership in South Carolina.
