Event Report
The Graham EVent was changed 3 weeks ago to be a video production session for as many Triad EV Association EV owners who felt safe coming to the nearby Alamance Community College. We had 4 EVs with one member providing video production support with a good video camera and remote wireless mics.We gave out packets of materials, hand sanitizers, and NDEW water bottles to the ACC department head who opened their facility for the EVent as well as each of the EV owners. We will post-produce video for posting to the EVent site within the next week to 10 days. This was the first time any of us had pulled together interviews with our members. We will continue to interview EV owners in the future, targeting only one or two videos per monthly meeting.
More images and video will be posted at the Flickr album https://flic.kr/s/aHsmQZmSCi
Event Description
The Alamance Community College (ACC) will host a National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) 2020 EVent on Saturday October 3rd, 2020 by invitation only, with video replay to be available online and posted on this web page by Oct 10th.
A dozen area EV owners will be demonstrating features from many different makes and models of Electric Vehicles at Alamance Community College on
October 3rd 2020. Unlike past years, this EVent will be by invitation
only to keep numbers of participants under the maximum EVent size
allowed during this Phase 2.5 of COVID19 pandemic restrictions. Over the next week we will edit the interviews, and post photos & videos highlighting the Electrifying Experiences of area EV owners.
If you are interested in having your EV driving experiences documented and you live in the Central NC or Southwest Virginia area, we invite you to register by clicking the "RSVP" button above in order to participate in our EVent on October 3 (maximum of 12 spaces are available for EVs). Otherwise join us online a week after the EVent for a replay of featured full size EVs from our 2020 ACC NDEW EVent.
We will also share videos and collect materials on the Triad Electric Vehicle Association's website: TEVANC.org
This EVent is a collaboration between Alamance Community College, Triad Electric Vehicle Association (TEVA), and online support from the National Drive Electric Week team.
