We held three virtual events to cover the EV spectrum from high (Porsche Taycan), medium (Tesla line-up plus Chevy Volt), to Low (used Nissan Leaf).  The first event was held at McDanial's Porsche dealership in Columbia, SC where we dove in depth to the Taycan followed by a test drive and detailed look at the customization options when ordering.  Second, we reviewed the Tesla model line-up (S, 3, X, and Y) along with the Chevy Bolt.  A potential Tesla Model X buyer was provided test drive and it was his first ever drive in an EV.  We ended the week with a detailed interview with two Columbia used EV owners about their decision to buy a used EV and potential pitfalls to avoid.  We closed with an interview with the owner of www.onlyusedtesla.com to understand the used EV market from his view point.  

Drive Electric Week in Columbia, SC will be held across three virtual events: Saturday September 26, Tuesday September 29th, and Saturday October 3.  Each event will have a specific focus.  We are thankful to our 2020 sponsors: McDaniel's Porsche, Palmetto Clean Fuels Coalition and Electrify America.  

First, we'll have an in-depth review of the Porsche Taycan at McDaniel's Porsche complete with a test drive and charging session at their new 400v charging station.  

On Tuesday, we'll review a couple other new EVs for sale, featuring the Tesla Model Y and experience a live test drive with someone looking move from gasoline to electric.  

Finally, Saturday will be all about the used EV marketplace: what to buy and how to buy it!  We'll interview local used EV owners, talk with the owner of an EV specific used car website and provide practical information on the most affordable way to DRIVE ELECTRIC!!
