Event Report

We think everyone is notable. A few people who never had seen an electric were very interesting. We thought everyone had at least seen or read about the great advances Electrics have made and keep making. We had wide eyed children to many students and parents and grand parents. It was a great mix of people from all over and every age.

This photo shows the some of the many vehicles and people sharing experiences about driving Electric. There is the popular VOLT next to the newest entries the BMW i3 that can be a pure electric or Range Extended hybrid with the REX option. There is also a world record Jr Dragster made by our member Jim Wolfe tows it and travels in a rare Chrysler TEvan that still has the original 22 year old batteries and can travel as far as when it was new. We also had a lot of 2011-2015 LEAF vehicles that are the worlds largest selling electrics to the Tesla S and Roadsters that are the worlds fastest and safest. One of our members also drove his very rare FORD Transit Connect all electric.

Event Description

IMPORTANT CHANGE
Meet  in the parking lot WEST of McDonald's, adjacent to the drive thru(highlighted). We have limited parking this year. Come early so can reserve a spot in the outlined area for a fellow ev'er. Per McDonald's rules: Each driver can reserve one spot. So bring a lawn chair to hold a spot.  If you arrive late and all spots are taken, park in general parking until a spot opens up.
We will have conversions , rare Electrics and the most popular Electrics like the LEAF , Focus EV, Smart-ED, BMW i3, Tesla Roadster and Tesla Model S. Some of the rare Electrics are a 1994 Chrysler EPIC Van that still has battery capacity of a new EV yet it is about 20 years old. Also a rare FORD Transit Connect EV there are less than 10 of each of these rare vehicles and both run like new.

Some Plugin hybrids like the VOLT , Prius PI and FORD Energi C-Max will also be there along with owners you can talk with and ask questions of real owners and drivers. See why plugging in saves the most.

Our show also features information and displays of Solar PV. One of our members owns the Monarch-Power.com solar company with Solar Lotus dual axis tracking and window awing units.
