Event Report
Three vehicles -- a Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model X, and Chevrolet Bolt -- participated in the Fishbowl Parade. When the pace of the parade allowed, the Model X stopped and opened the falcon-wing doors, which was very popular with the bystanders and those on the reviewing stand. At the end of the parade, we distributed a number of pens, a mesh bag, and a water bottle to interested parties.
At the Sheriff's D. A. R. E. Day event, only the Model X was present. We opened the falcon-wing doors on request and distributed some fact sheets on available EV models. Several sheriff's deputies were interested in various aspects of the "care and feeding" of an EV, and we conversed with them at length.

Event Description
We will join the Fish Bowl Parade (assembly begins at 8 AM; parade kicks off at 10) as the Electric Vehicle Unit and park near I. C. Norcom High School at the end of the parade route to display our automobiles and chat with passersby about the benefits of driving EVs.
Alternatively, some may want to drive stop in at the Virginia Beach event which runs from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. See https://driveelectricweek.org/event.php?eventid=2071.
If you're staying on or coming back to Portsmouth from Virginia Beach, we will redeploy to the Sheriff's D. A. R. E. celebration from 2:30 to 5 PM at City Park.
