Event Report
On September 19, the Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) held its 5th annual Drive Electric Celebration in honor of National Drive Electric Week.
Over 70 visitors stopped by the Environmental Park in Egg Harbor Township to see various models of electric vehicles and learn about the benefits of driving electric. Local dealers and businesses including Chapman Ford, South Jersey Electric Vehicles, Mt. Holly Motorsports, NAPA Auto Parts and GreenLife Energy Solutions were all in attendance with vehicles to showcase. ACUA's fleet of electric vehicles was also on display.
Speakers from New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Atlantic City Electric and Stockton University gave presentations covering a
wide variety of topics including NJ incentives for going electric, the role an electric utility plays in the adoption of electric vehicles and what's next for electric vehicles.

Be a part of the conversation to clean our roadways by driving electric!
Learn the latest incentives and benefits for switching to electric vehicles, grant opportunities for installing electric charging stations and more!
Area car dealerships will also be on site with the latest models of electric vehicles and residents are invited to show off their personal EVs.
This event will be held at our Environmental Park Facility located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
