We also used two Goal Zero Boulder 100 Briefcase solar panels plugged into a Goal Zero Yeti 1000 battery "generator" to supply power to an AeroVironment Level 1 charging cable, which was connected to the Energica EVA motorcycle. At a 2A draw from the motorcycle, over 5 hours, the bike gained 8% state of charge. The battery was pre-charged to full using a larger array of solar panels the day before, so all energy delivered to the motorcycle was 100% from the sun.

Event Description
Join us in Brentwood Park to see and experience the gamut of available electrified transportation! This is a small event being put on by a team of passionate EV owners from the Triangle (and beyond). There will be several electric motorcycles, plug-in hybrids, and full electric vehicles on display. We have a demonstration of solar powered charging!
