Event Report
It was a snowy and rainy DEED but people still came in small groups, a steady stream between 11:30 am and 2 pm.
Our stellar EV Ambassadors proudly showcased their vehicles: Toyota Prius Prime, Tesla Model X, Tesla Model 3, and Chevy Volt.
What's even better is that at least 3 EVs were sold!

Event Description
EV Tompkins is a community-based collaboration among government, non-profit, businesses, and researchers focused on creating enabling conditions that would foster widespread EV adoption in Tompkins County. We have a goal to increase the number of EVs registered in the county from 310 in 2018 to 620 by the end of 2019. As of February 2019, there are 526 EVs registered in Tompkins County.
This free and family-friendly event is brought to you by EV Tompkins partners. Maguire Chevrolet of Ithaca is the sponsor and host, supported by EV enthusiasts and volunteers. CCE Tompkins will be tabling at the event. The goal of this event is to reduce a sense of unfamiliarity with EVs and to address any questions the public may have about EV ownership, driving experience, government financial incentives, and charging.
The location is off Route 13, behind Triphammer Mall.
