Event Report

Thanks to all our EV owners, volunteers, exhibitors, and staff for making DFW NDEW 2019 our best year yet! We were able to move to a new location this year thanks to our friends at Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and we’re excited to share that we were able to set a new Texas record with 186 vehicles in one location. A large variety of vehicles included nearly every EV make and model to give attendees a chance to experience all shapes sizes, and price points. We even had two-wheeled options, including the Harley-Davidson Livewire on display for folks to see. Talented high schoolers from The Winton School came with their solar-powered car to show that the future is truly in good hands! Attendees even had a chance to grab our new “rEVolution” NDEW 2019 shirt.

Oncor Electric was able to facilitate their road rally at our event and handed out a prize for the driver and navigator who came closest to the designated time.

Lastly, the EV owners are the real heroes at our NDEW event. These folks are willing to spend their weekend with us educating those who might be interested in owning an EV and we couldn’t be prouder!

Stay tuned to our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/nctcogtrans for a photo album from our event.

Event Description

North Texas EV owners and future owners!

We're excited to bring owners of all makes and models together for the second largest EV showing in the country. Last year (in the pouring down rain) we had 169 EVs attend and this year we're aiming for 200 vehicles!

Your NDEW team (North Central Texas Council of Governments/DFW Clean Cities) has some great things planned including a new location for the event. That's right, for those of you who are familiar with our NDEW event, we've been at Grapevine Mills Mall for the past four years. This year, we're moving to Irving near the fun Las Colinas area and we'll be hosting our event at the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) North Irving Transit Center.  We're excited for the larger space the transit center will provide us as well as the close proximity to the DART Orange Line. Join us and bring the whole family!

We also wanted to pass along an opportunity from Oncor Electric Delivery to participate in an EV road rally during NDEW. This will be a timed (but not based on speed) rally that will visit several popular destinations around our NDEW location. There are limited slots available and a prize will be presented to the winner. For additional information, including how to participate, rules, and available time slots, contact Oncor at: EVroadrally@Oncor.com

Please register to attend using the button at the top of this page.
